In Memory: NOCE Student, FC Alumna, Mother of Four was Victim of Las Vegas Shooting

It is with great sadness that we share about the death of one of our students who was a victim in in the Sunday-night shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rocio Guillen was currently enrolled in the North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) Joyful Parenting class at the Anaheim Campus and had been taking Parenting Program classes on-and-off since 2001. An alumna of Fullerton College, Guillen earned her associate degree in 1998. She grew up in Anaheim and attended Katella High School. Guillen is survived by her fiancé Chris and four children: ages 18, 13, 18-months, and six weeks old.

The family has established a Go Fund Me page to raise money for her children: https://www.gofundme.com/support-for-marcus-chris

The news was reported on KCBS-2 and KCAL-9: http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/video/category/news/3739769-remembering-vegas-shooting-victim-rocio-guillen/
